Landscape of the Self: Eco-Somatic Gatherings
Guided movement, breath and rest in nature
We gather for gratitude, grief and connectedness with all that is
We ground in our physical environment and flow into movement
We cultivate inner resources to help us cope with uncertainties
We find solace in our daily lives with somatic practices
We co-create space for conversations, embodiment practices, and play

Eco-Resilience, not eco-anxiety
with an eco-feminist pedagogy of pleasure.
The earth needs us to come together and heal ourselves and her. To do that, we need to spend less time feeling freaked out and more time feeling agency, purpose and pleasure.
Resilience is being responsive in a way that allows for flexibility, and to change with situational demands without losing oneself. As we face environmental and biological diversity loss and disruptions, we need more capacity to face uncertainty and anxiety. At the same time, we will serve better if we cultivate our capacity for rest, beauty and pleasure. As our world changes, we can glean meaning and purpose from the challenges. We can re-orient toward what is needed, balancing what is needed for our individual self, our local community and the wider ecosystems.
It’s one thing to talk about climate disruptions and being resilient. But how do we practice resiliency in our whole self—as one undivided organism in an ecosystem with many other organisms? Body, breath, emotions, thoughts, movement, posture, action, spirit.
This is what we explore in 5-week Eco-Resilience online classes and Eco-Resilience Gatherings.
